Local Business Search

Finding nearby restaurants, services, and businesses using location-aware search capabilities.

How Local Search Works

Your AI employee can find local businesses, restaurants, services, and points of interest in any location. It uses web search combined with location-specific queries to find relevant results including business names, addresses, phone numbers, hours of operation, ratings, and reviews. This is useful for finding meeting venues, booking restaurants for client lunches, locating service providers, or researching local market conditions.

Finding a restaurant

Search for local dining options.

You say:
Find a nice Italian restaurant near downtown Chicago for a client dinner next Tuesday. Budget around $80-100 per person.
Sarudo responds:
Here are three excellent options in downtown Chicago: 1) RPM Italian (River North) — 4.6 stars, upscale Italian, average $90/person, known for handmade pasta. 2) Monteverde (West Loop) — 4.7 stars, contemporary Italian, average $85/person, Michelin-recommended. 3) Piccolo Sogno (River North) — 4.5 stars, traditional Italian, average $75/person, has a beautiful patio. All three accept reservations online. Shall I look into availability for Tuesday evening?

Finding Services & Vendors

Need a local printer, accountant, lawyer, or any other service provider? Ask your AI employee and it will search for options in your area, complete with ratings, reviews, contact information, and pricing when available. This is faster than manual Google searches because the AI filters and presents only the most relevant results based on your specific needs and preferences.

Saving Local Finds

When the AI finds a useful local business, you can ask it to save the contact information to your knowledge base or CRM. This builds up a personal directory of vetted local businesses and service providers that you can reference later. Over time, your AI employee learns your preferences — your favorite coffee shop for informal meetings, your preferred hotel chain for visiting clients, and your go-to print shop for marketing materials.

✅

Ask the AI to save good local finds to your knowledge base. Over time, you'll build a curated directory of trusted businesses and vendors.

Travel & Logistics

Local search extends to travel planning and logistics. Your AI employee can research hotels, transportation options, meeting venues, and restaurants in any city. If you are traveling for a client meeting, ask the AI to plan your logistics — it can find hotels near the client's office, recommend restaurants for the business dinner, and identify coffee shops for the morning prep meeting. All of this information can be added to your calendar and trip notes.
